Vegetables, salmon, potherbs and time makes the most wonderful soup and the flavor is perfect if the soup is made with love. Winter is the time for soup and I love soup. I make carrot soup, soup of peas, potato soup, soup with beaf and you name it… I make it. I love soup.
When I was a child my mom used to make a very special soup called “Yellow Peas”. It’s a thick and rich soup made of dried peas, lots of herbs and oceans of time. It’s served with a boiled sausage or any other boiled meat, mustard and maybe some dark bread.
I never made it myself, but I think maybe I should try making it some time soon. It really tasted like winter to me…
